With 3 years of jazz vocal training behind her, Dae displays a vocal control and range uncommon for most acoustic rock musicians. Her Ejma experience also molds her distinctive compositional style, including the usage of jazz chording and voicings . Dae's pop influences include Jeff Buckley, Sheryl Crow, and John Mayer along with jazz greats like Billie Holliday, Nina Simone and Randy Crawford. Dae is currently recording her debut solo cd in which she is playing all the instruments. It is expected to be released by August 2007.
